peak of Pocheon. Gukmangbong takes pride in clean water of the valley,
as well as an abundance of trees in natural forests and plantations, which
radiate plenty of phytoncide, making it an appropriate place for forest
bathing. Gukmangbong Natural Recreation Forest operates on a family-oriented
memebership basis, aiming at nature conservation by restricting the number
of tourists. It boasts its reservoir being used to provide drinking water,
in addition to a botanical garden with some 170 wild flowers. |
