Pilot Project on Environment Improvement for Roadside Trees

On April 20, Korea Forest Service launched the "Pilot Project on Environment Improvement for Roadside Trees" in presence of authorities from the administrative offices within the Government Complex-Daejeon, authorities from the city and provincial offices and around 100 participants. The launching ceremony was held in the Government Complex-Daejeon.
KFS officials explained the role and the ways to enhance effectiveness of the roadside trees. Furthermore, they said that they will endeavor in turning the grey city crowded with buildings into a green city by continuing research and distribution of technique on planting and management of roadside trees.Through the Pilot Project, the authorities are looking forward to providing a breathing space for the roadside trees.
