There flows a valley from the top of the Baegunsan to the north. It is called Yong-su-gol. It has a legend of Yong (means dragon) in its Dae-yong-so and So-yong-so. The valley encompasses a dense forest, transparent water and unique rocks and stones to compose original exquisite scenery. The lower stream of Yong-su-gol gets wider than the other part of the valley with abundant water, so it has been used by many people with their family all year round. Inside the recreation forest within the Baegunsan mountain are a variety of trees distributed. Planted trees and natural broad-leaf trees are moderately mixed together creating a beautiful distant view. Along the way to the recreation area, extended over 1.7km, Korean Weigela trees and Sargent cherry are abundant, making a beauty when in full bloom. Within the recreational area are chinese water deers, wild boars and raccoons easily seen and a variety of broad-leaf trees and wild flowers like Dicentra spectabilis (L.) Lem, Aquilegia buergeriana var. oxysepala (Trautv & Meyer) Kitam and Hepatica aslatica Nakai, etc.
