This year 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of Korea Forest Service (KFS) which was inaugurated in 1967.

In celebration of the 50-year history and achievements, KFS presents a slogan and an emblem.

Under the commemorative slogan “green forests achieved together now our forests to be shared together “, KFS will continue its efforts to enhance forest values and improve the quality of life through forests.

The emblem shown above features a symbolic number 50 with visual imagery of forest, treesand human being in the hope of realizing a bright and green future coming for our country and people.
