The Korea Forest Service, on April 25th in the Government Complex-Deajeon, held a seminar on CDM(Clean Development Mechanism) poject investment in presence of Mr. Kaban, Indonesian Minister of Forestry and his party on their visit to Korea. CDM projects for overseas commercial afforestation and CO2 sink were mainly discussed at the seminar and a cooperative development project, so-called ’Forestry Blue Ocean’ has been planned.


Chief Suh Seung-jin of the Korea Forest Service remarked that this seminar is instrumental in developing ’Forestry Blue Ocean’ for both countries’ benefits, based on the matured and close partnership in forestry projects between the two for over 30 years.
