Bilateral Meeting with Indonesia on the occasion of ASEAN-ROK Special Ministerial Meeting on Forestry  

H.E. Dr. SHIN Won Sop, Minister of the Korea Forest Service (KFS) welcomed H.E. Mrs. Siti Nurbaya, Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Indonesian delegation. They shared insights on major forests issues including forest land management, forest eco-tourism project in Sentul, REDD+ project in Kampar, overseas forest plantation, etc. The Indonesian side showed its interest in land management and bioenergy, thus both sides agreed to include those issues into agenda of the 22nd Korea-Indonesia Forest Cooperative Committee and the 8th Forest Forum which are to be held in 2016, Korea and make further discussions at those upcoming events.
