Eastern National Forest Office, founded as a 4th grade agency in 1926, was upgraded into a 3rd grade agecy. On June 1, a short ceremony was held in front of the Eastern National Forest Office in presence of Chief Cho Yon-hwan, the Mayor, County Head, and representatives of relevant bodies.
