- 1996: New Zealand warmly welcomed Korea‘s proposal to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on forestry cooperation.
- 1st Forestry Cooperative Committee (1998): Focused on promoting forestry investment and facilitating the exchange of forest product trade.
- 2nd Forestry Cooperative Committee (2001): Deliberated on conifer plywood manufacturing technology and exchanged data on wood products.
- 3rd Forestry Cooperative Committee (2003): Addressed the expansion of investment in overseas reforestation and improvements to the quarantine of imported trees.
- 4th Forestry Cooperative Committee (2005): Centered on ensuring the stable supply of Radiata pine and facilitating the exchange of experts.
- 5th Forestry Cooperative Committee (2009): Discussed the wood pellet industry and cooperation between research institutes.
- 6th Forestry Cooperative Committee (2011): Focused on exchanging information on the wood industry and opinions on research cooperation.
- 7th Forestry Cooperative Committee (2013): Included discussions on a short-term training course for civil servants and forestry investment for the expansion of log yards.
- 8th Forestry Cooperative Committee (2016): Discussed matters related to industrial plantation investment, quantity production of clones, and cultivation of genetically modified species.
