Opening of the Yangyang National Forest Station

On March 7, the opening of the Yangyang National Forest Station was held in presence of Chief Suh Seung-jin at Yeonchang-ri, Yangayang-eup, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon Province. The Yangyang National Forest Station will be managing 63,000 ha of forests in Goseong area including Yangyang and Sokcho. There will be 4 teams and 24 officers in charge of site operation on forest fires and disasters as well as forest project administration.
