The Korea Forest Service, in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Independence Day, held the National Flower Mugunghwa Grand Festival in Cheonan-based Independence Hall of Korea on August 10, 2005 in collaboration with the Independence Hall of Korea in order to widely promote the beauty of the national flower mugunghwa. This event includes exhibition of a variety of artifacts regarding mugunghwa, and will be held through the coming 18th of August for nine days.
