The opening ceremony of the ASEAN Recreation Forest was hosted on October 29 and attended by ambassadors of ten ASEAN member states to Korea, Deputy Minister of the Korea Forest Service KIM Yongha, officers from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, multicultural families and local communities.

The invited ambassadors and distinguished guests joined a hand-printing event at the ceremony. 

This specially designed forest offers traditional houses of ASEAN countries - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam in alphabetical order.

Visitors can enjoy various cultures of the 10 countries and relax in surrounding forests.
