Preventing forest casualties for the summer
Dr. Suh Seung-jin, Chief of KFS, visited Yangpyeong, Yangju and other areas in Gyeonggi Province to take a look around the sites where safety projects have taken place such as the erosion control dams and forest residue removal sites. He sincerely requested the Regional Forest Service and the local authorities to thoroughly prepare for the upcoming rainy season to minimize landslide, flood and other summer casualties.
