Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus) Festival
Celebrating 61 years of independence, the Rose of Sharon(Hibiscus syriacus) National Flower Festival was held at Seongsu-il-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The passers-by and visitors closely observed the subtle beauty of the Roses of Sharon exhibited at the square. The festival was jointly organized by Korea Forest Service and the Korea Times. Variety of activities, including hibiscus planting, were arranged for the visitors.
