Dust and Sandstorm and Combating Desertification in Mongolia Launching Next Yea
Dr. Suh Seung-jin, the Chief of Korea Forest Service, visited Mongolia from August 29 to September 3 to discuss Korea''s supporting project for the Greenbelt Program in Mongolia. The Chief took field excursions to Ulanbataar, Lun Som, Choir, and Dalanzadgad to survey seedling transportation, human resources, water resources and other conditions of the potential sites. He also made a courtesy call on the Vice Minister Enkhmandakh of the Mongolian Ministry of Nature and Environment.
