Signing ceremony of the MOU on Forestry Cooperation between Brazil and the Republic of Korea was held on the sideline of the Rio+20 Summit on 21 June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro. Minister Dr. Don Koo Lee (also President of the UNCCD COP 10) from the Korea Forest Service and the Brazilian Envionmental Minister Ms. Izabella Teixeira jointly signed the MOU, opening a new era of cooperation between the two countries on a broad range of forestry-related issues.
