On March 26, 2015, the 2nd Meeting of the Taskforce for Assessment for the Implementation of the AFoCo Agreement (TF-Assessment) was held at Tagaytay City, Philippines. The objective of this meeting was to consider the draft of assessment report submitted by the external consultant team and agree on the future action and procedures for submission of the final report to the ASEAN-ROK Forest Cooperation (AFoCo) Governing Council.

The Meeting was attended by the members of TF-Assessment from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the Republic of Korea. Mr. CHOI Youngtae, the Director of the International Cooperation Division of the Korea Forest Service, led the sessions as the Chair.

After the external consultant agency - Institute for International Development Cooperation of Yeongnam University - had presented its assessment report, the TF-Assessment members discussed on various matters to further enhance the structure and quality of the report. Upon receiving the final comments of the member countries by April 16 and the finalization of the report, it will then be presented at the 6th Session of the AFoCo Governing Council, which is to be held on April 22, 2015.
