On June 5, Dr. Suh Seung-jin, the Chief of the Korea Forest Service, along with other senior officials, paid a visit to the National Memorial Park in Daejeon in commemoration of the National Memorial Day. They prayed for the souls of the fire fighters and pubic officers who have offered their lives during the 2001 Andong forest fire.
