On June 17, Korea Forest Service held the National Conference on Forestry with Mayors, County Governors, and District Heads, under the theme, "Forest for the Future".


The conference focused on strengthening cooperation among local governments and Korea Forest Service in order to facilitate regional development. 116 leaders from the local government and some 500 forestry-related personnel attended the conference.
