On December 12, some 50 officers of the Korea Forest Service and affiliate agencies went to Sannam-ri, Sonbul-myeon, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do to help the residents restore damages properties. The volunteer officers were able to give a little comfort to the residents in despair.
