Renewed Forest Human Resource Development Institute
Forestry Training Department of Korea Forest Research Institute (KFRI) had its title changed to Forest Human Resource Development Institute and was separated from KFRI on Jan 1, 2006. Now that the institute belongs to Korea Forest Service, the opening ceremony was held on Jan 12th and attended by Cho Yon-Hwan, Chief of Korea Forest Service along with important personnel from the service and chiefs from other institutes and organizations.
Forest Human Resource Development Institute explained the fundamental purpose of the forest policies to concerned officials on forest sites and is renewed as the core of fostering the best brains, applying Chief. Cho’s strong will of building up forest experts to the policies.

