Arrangement on Siberian Tiger Breeding

At 4pm November 16, a brace of tigers from China arrived in Korea with VIP treatment. At the same time at Cheongwadae, donation ceremony was held in advance of the Korea-China Summit. The Siberian tigers were donated by President Hu Jintao of China to President Roh Moo-hyun as a symbol of friedship. In presence of both presidents, Mr. Cho Yon-hwan, the Chief of KFS and Mr. Zhou Shengxian, the Administor of State Forestry Administration signed the Arrangement on Cooperation in Siberian Tiger Breeding.
