The Korea Forest Service will practice strong restrictions for gabage disposal and safe precaution for protection and cleanliness of the mountains this summer. The intensive control activities will be implemented in cooperation with the local governments and regional forest services.

The activities will include supervising illegal disposal of garbage and cooking activities by visitors within the protected area.

The offenders will be fined up to 1 M won according to the Act on Forest Resources Development and Management.




The local volunteers will also play an important role in this restriction activities which is expected to establish a environmentally sound vacation practice among the general public.
