The 9th REDD+ Capacity Building Program was held at the Forest Training Institute of the Korea Forest Service from October 17th to 21st, 2016. 15 trainees from 6 different countries participated in the training.

The capacity building program was held for trainees to exchange information on forest policy related after the Paris Agreement, and to understand various activities and policies for maximizing the role of forest for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Dr. Larry R. Fisher, Research Professor of the University of Arizona is giving a lecture on 'REDD+ Capacity Building'.
