New dreams and hopes for 2007


The Korea Forest Service(KFS) held the opening ceremony for the year of 2007 with attentive participation of all staff at the conference room on Jan. 2.


Chief of KFS Suh Seong-jin expressed at the ceremony that KFS should strive to establish sustainable forest management and to upgrade lushly greened forests to valuable natural resources at the level of developed nations. He also added that especially on the 40th anniversary of KFS’s inauguration, we should open a promising era of forest, reminding ourself of the original intention of afforestation.
