Forest products from Korean land blessed with natural beauty, rich resources and clean environment contain good elements for health. To produce clean forest products, promotion projects include environmentally sound equipment for forest pest and disease control, prevention methods using natural enemies of forest pests and diseases, certification of forest products with geographical marking, good agricultural practices(GAP), etc.
High quality products from forests are produced such as pine mushroom, jujube, wild ginseng, shiitake mushroom and other high-valued products. So the KFS is endeavoring to export these forest products to the rest of the world, to strengthen export competitiveness in forest products and to advance into overseas markets. Continued efforts are being made in exporting clean and delicious forest food.
