Pilot Timber Plantation Project
A pilot timber plantation project in Caaguazu is being conducted by the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute which was previously called “Korean Green Promotion Agency” in cooperation with the National Forest Institute of Paraguay (INFONA). With the view of having the private sector interested in forest plantation in Paraguay and diversifying forest investment activities in Latine America, this 3,000 ha plantation of Eucalyptus species can be a profitable planation model for overseas forest investment.
