We warmly welcome all of you to visit this website.

The Central Regional Office of Forest Service manages 130,000 ha of national forests in 32 cities and districts, including Daejeon, Sejong, Chungcheongnam-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do.

Recently, amid growing concerns over rapid climate change, increasing particulate pollution and declining biodiversity, public interest in forests has increased. In this context, the Central Regional Office of Forest Service is pursuing forest policies aimed at sustainable management of forest resources, expansion of forest welfare services and enhancement of forest disaster management capabilities.

In addition, we actively promote forestry policies tailored to the conditions of the central region and endeavor to contribute to stable incomes for foresters through initiatives such as creating forest-related jobs and managing the forestry grant scheme.

We hope that this website can serve as a platform for communicating news from forest sites, facilitating communication with the public and foresters, and always strive to provide valuable information about the forests.

Thank you.
