Welcome to our website and thank you for visiting.
The Central Regional Office of Forest Service manages 130,000 hectares of national forests across 32 cities, counties, and districts, including Daejeon, Sejong, Chungcheongnam-do, and Chungcheongbuk-do. We are a forest administrative agency responsible for implementing forest policies in various sectors, including disaster prevention such as forest fires, pest and disease control, landslides, forest management, and forest welfare within the region.
Our priority is to create "Economically Valuable and Ecologically Healthy Forests for All." To achieve this, we are building a foundation for an economically viable forestry industry through sustainable and circular forest resource management. We are also expanding forest welfare services to promote social and environmental forestry, while enhancing our capacity to respond to forest disasters to protect the lives of citizens and forest resources.
Additionally, we are committed to promoting active forest administration through collaboration with foresters and related institutions, while implementing forest policies tailored to the specific conditions of the central region of the Republic of Korea.
We hope this website serves as a platform that facilitates communication between the public and foresters, and we will continually strive to provide valuable information about forests.
Thank you.
